About me

With massage, we allow the time and space to discover a sense of peace and balance. We have more to offer our life when we are replenished.

Katie has passionately been a licensed massage therapist since 2002, passionately serving clients as a licensed massage therapist for over two decades. Weaving a deep understanding of the human body with an intuitive healing approach, Katie’s purpose is to elevate healing, empower women, and honor the transitions of life.

Massage is the medicine of the future. Through touch we stimulate the body’s own ability to heal itself. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure.” Integrative approach combining modalities from all corners of the world, she offers a style that is unique to each individual.

My approach combines modalities from that I have studied thoroughly through the world.

Hawaiian Lomi

An ancient style of healing, massage is known as lomi lomi in Hawaii and throughout most of Polynesia. Here your spirit will be lifted to the gentle place of relaxation. Sweet smells of tropical flowers are combined with coconut oil rich in plant proteins and applied with the use of forearms, hands and elbows in circular patterns. Tumbled ocean warm stones may be added to promote deeper relaxation and balance of the body systems.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive, hands-on session for the whole body. Biodynamic craniosacral theory is a holistic approach to treatment that purports that natural forces within the body establish order for the creation, development, and maintenance of the body’s systems.

Accident Recovery & Injury Rehab

Applying therapeutic massage for most injury rehabilitation and chronic muscle pain, you will leave with a greater awareness of your body and some tools to help you in the process of reaching optimal state of wellness. We will unfold the body’s holding patterns and places of tightness that could be restricting your body from functioning at its optimal, through the combination of Shiatsu, Thai stretching and deep tissue modalities.

Pre- & Post-natal Massage

Not sure what to expect now that you are expecting? As you transition through this time, therapeutic massage can ease tension away with care and concern, relax your tension, and support you through this journey. During the fourth trimester, it has been proven to reduce aches and pains of the body's changing landscape, promote a compassionate way to regard these changes, and support mother-infant bonding.
