Virtual consultations are an excellent option for those seeking support but are unable to come into the office for a hands-on visit. Traditional East Asian medicine has much more to offer than acupuncture and other hands-on modalities! Virtual consults are 45 minutes for the first session and 30 minutes for each follow up.

HOW TO PREPARE
- Dress in loose comfortable clothing, as if for your regular acupuncture appointment.
- Get situated in a quiet, private space where you are most comfortable in your home.
- Have cushions or pillows nearby.
- If you have your Virtual Wellness Kit, be sure to have it handy. You'll also want to have a lighter and small bowl of water nearby for your incense.
GETTING CONNECTED
- Your Appointment Reminder email will contain your link to connect and begin your virtual appointment. You will need to allow access to your camera and microphone.
- Laptops & Desktop Computers: Our Online Appointments are best experienced using Chrome or Opera.
Firefox unfortunately does not allow to reduce the quality of the video so it will gobble up all your bandwidth. Safari is audio only. - Android Devices: Android devices work best with Chrome.
- iPhone & iPad: If you're on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad) you will need the Jane Online Appointments app, available in the app store.
- Check your battery! It might be best to be plugged in.
- Close any other apps that might be using up your internet bandwidth.
- For your security and privacy, this system is not designed to record or store audio or video and all electronic audio and video communication will be encrypted in transit.
PAYMENT
- Insurance does not cover telehealth visits with acupuncturists. You can find cash rates for visits here.
- Have your payment card handy at the start of your first visit - this card will be saved on file and will be charged for future visits and purchases. Your receipt will always be emailed to you for your reference.
